What are the Odds of Us Getting Lucky?

Right now the timeline for economic and public health recovery is both uncertain and pessimistic. The vaccine is quoted by Dr. Anthony Fauci as 18 months away, and while biotech companies are working on treatments, most experts say they will not be ready until the end of summer. However, with the entire world focusing right now on one objective, the odds, should be getting better. All the time being spent by so many different companies and organizations on finding a cure or treatment, something is bound to go our way. Maybe a breakthrough will be found in vaccine making or antibody treatments. Of course, parts of these timelines cannot be changed, such as the time it takes to actually make the supplies and manufacture the drugs, but aspects that are left up to chance, should be seeing better luck, with so many working on it.
